Currently Shark Modem™ supports all Java enabled Blackberry 7xxx series models.

Features of The Shark Modem Application
• Supports OS: Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP
• Supports all browsers
• Support native Instant Messengers: Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and ICQ
• Supports Outlook and other email programs
At this time supports only USB connection (not Bluetooth) between handheld and laptop. So you need to have the BB desktop manager installed on the laptop that you want to use the shark modem on.
Limitation: due to the restrictions of the blackberry operating system, you cannot use more than 5 channels (HTTP or Sockets) at a time.
Requirements of The Shark Modem Application
Listed are the following requirement in order to use The Shark Modem application
• Blackberry OS 3.7 or higher (recommended 4.x
• Blackberry Desktop software 3.7 or higher
• One of the above mentioned Blackberry models
• Full MDS connectivity or direct TCP connectivity
• If you have a BES behind a firewall, be sure that connections to all servers are permitted and ports 80, 443 and 1863 are opened
• Be sure you have the 'Desktop [IPPP]' service book installed
